“Campaign 1: The Ironshield Expedition” – first episode added

This is a new experiment: I’ll be sharing a dramatized account of our ongoing TTRPG campaign set in the sandbox world of Teliboria. We use 5th Edition rules, enhanced with homebrew modifications that improve gameplay and deepen the storytelling.

My goal is to share the fun we have adventuring in Teliboria while showcasing the diverse locations, memorable characters, and intriguing story hooks we uncover along the way.

Converting DM campaign notes into this format takes significant time and effort, but it’s also a lot of fun. If this experiment doesn’t resonate with enough of the audience, I’ll simply wrap up Campaign 1 and leave it at that.

Starting a series of short YouTube videos that will share content from Teliboria

The intention is to share content that will be helpful to GMs/DMs, not just promote the book. These will be short videos on NPCs, Locations, and Story hooks/conflicts/factions.

This is the first vdeo:

The Kickstarter funded book (400 content pages) is complete

Proofing is done and the complete version of the digital book has been uploaded to DriveThruRPG.

I’ve submitted the digital version (422 pages) for approval and to make it publicly available on their site. The softcover Print on Demand (PoD) version has also been uploaded, and I’m currently waiting for DTRPG’s review and approval. Once approved, I’ll order the proof copy for a final check and make it public on their site.

Disabled the Patreon site – Focus on self-funding & Kickstarter

I decided to disable the Patreon site for now and focus on self-funded and Kickstarter funded new publications. I may revisit this later. The intention is to continue generating more content, expanding on the 400+ pages first book.

Kickstarter Campaign Book Version 1.0 released (100% of content and layout done)

The “The Chronicles of Teliboria vol 1: A TTRPG World Unveiled” book is complete with content for all 4 cities laid out. I have also added all the custom/elite NPCs for which I have received backer suggestions. The Alpha released is shared with all Kickstarter Campaign backers via DriveThroughRPG. The title will be officially released on August 25 as an eBook on DriveThruRPG, and about three to four weeks later in printed (PoD) format.

The current length of the first book on the sandbox world of Teliboria is over 400 pages. Check out the contents below. Here are some statistics: 4 cities, 631 locations, 511 NPCs, 77 Inns/Taverns/Pubs, 12 Crime Syndicates, and much more!

Working on the Kickstarter release (50% of layout done)

I have been working on the Kickstarter release, which will be published when complete, as an eBook (most likely on DTRPG) and a Print on Demand book (most likely on DTRPG and KDP-Amazon).

I have just completed the cities of Saltwater and Oshmabel, a total of more than 200 pages.

Kickstarter campaign prelaunch

Prepared the main content and completed the logistics for the “The Chronicles of Teliboria vol 1: A TTRPG World Unveiled” Kickstarter campaign. If funded, this Kickstarter campaign will deliver a 150-200 pages introduction to Teliboria and its four major cities.

The campaign is here (at the time of this post, this is the prelaunch page where you can sign up to be notified when the campaign launches). You can also watch the introduction video on YouTube:

Improvements based on feedback, and a new post

Super busy week but still found time to:

(a) create a new blog post in the new category “Locations“. I started the Novawindë entry but halfway I decided to publish the Saltwater one since I have all this good quality content ready. This is the first location post and I expect the composition and format to improve/change over time.

(b) improve the blog aesthetics and navigation (off canvas menu)

(c) made more corrections to the PDF preview release based on feedback. I also updated the cover with a much better leather-like design.

(d) added more work in the February Patreon release. I am focusing on completing the first full version of Saltwater. This will be Volume 1 (the preview was Volume 0).

Created and published the teliboriachronicles.com blog / web site.

I woke up on Sunday morning and found the idea of a blog-format web site intriguing. The idea is to publish blog entries on the progress and the process of worldbuilding Teliboria. Also start posting content. In a consistent way. It will be fun. Ended up with a simple blog/website by the end of the day; with three posts. Again, very few people will see this for now, and I have all the time in the world to improve it.

First Patreon preview release is out

Invested a month’s effort to expand and enrich my existing content and finalize the layout of the releases. This first review release is 30 pages long and introduces the World of Teliboria and the City of Saltwater. Although initially the Capital City of Novawindë sounded like the natural choice for a first release, I opted for Saltwater; I have a soft spot in my heart for the port city with all the museums, theaters and the opera house. I am very happy with the result but I am sure it is full of bugs. This is the first release and very few people (I know all of them well :)) will see it. So I can have some fun and be sloppy. Still, I am proud of the published result! Here is the Patreon post.
