First posts are always awkward, and a little bit weird. But let me make it easy for me by addressing the questions you most likely have as you look at this page:
Is this site of any interest to me?
Most likely not! Unless you are a TTRPG GM/DM or a TTRPG enthusiast, the content here will appear out of context and boring. However, if you are a TTRPG fan, or interested in Worldbuilding, then you will find this site interesting and exciting.
What exactly is this site about?
This is a blog about a very passionate pet project of mine. I started this in early 2021 and have been working on it on-and-off since then. It is about worldbuilding for TTRPG games (any system) and it started with fantasy mapmaking for my own TTRPG game sessions, and organically grew up into something bigger. It is about the imaginary, ever expanding, and exciting “Sandbox” continent of Teliboria. This (unfinished) creation of mine is intended to be used as a TTRPG sandbox world for creative GMs/DMs who can use it as the setting for their one-offs or even whole campaigns, or just as inspiration for their world creations.
Why are you posting this content?
Well, I clearly post this content for people to read it.
I am very passionate about my pet project and the itch to share my creations with the world has been growing. It is a desire of other folks finding my content useful and fun to use, and giving me feedback that will make it more helpful and interesting. This is why I started this blog and the matching Patreon page. Although I have a “buy me a coffee”-level of a subscription on Patreon, this is not about monetization; it is about secretly hoping to build a small, engaged community around this fantasy worldbuilding project of mine, that will keep me motivated to build more, interesting content and share the fun 🙂
However, I quickly realized that Patreon is ideal for creators with an established audience / community. I experimented next with Kickstarter, with great success! The linked first campaign was funded by 59 TTRPG enthusiasts and produced a first 400+ pages book which introduces the world of Teliboria and its four largest settlements. I deactivated the Patreon Page for now and I will focus on self and Kickstarter funded content creation and more publications; I am working on multiple projects that will expand the sandbox world of Teliboria, and I will be posting updates and content on this site.
