From the The Chronicles of Teliboria, Alfred Ironshield, the famous dwarven innkeeper, map collector, and treasure hunter from Novawindë.
This is Alfred Ironshield, the renowned dwarven innkeeper of Novawindë. His tale begins in tragedy, the infamous kraken attack during the early days of the city claimed his parents’ lives while he was still a baby. Raised by a human family, Alfred reconnected with his dwarven heritage after meeting his cousin Gomruck, a skilled blacksmith with a shared passion for treasure hunting. Upon this reunion, Alfred reclaimed his birth surname, Ironshield, and began forging a legacy of his own. Though Alfred is known for his warm hospitality and gourmet cooking, his true passion lies in treasure hunting.

Along with his cousin, Gomruck, who shares this obsession, Alfred’s collection of rare maps and ancient artifacts has become one of the most extensive in Teliboria. The cousins frequently fund expeditions into Teliboria’s wilds, often using the Ironshield Inn as a base for adventurers who seek to uncover the land’s long-lost treasures. While Alfred runs the Ironshield Inn, he’s far from alone.

By his side is Glimmer Tinkertwist, his ever-reliable gnome helper. Glimmer’s quick wit and endless energy make him an indispensable part of the inn. From greeting guests to gathering secret information, Glimmer ensures everything runs smoothly, while often helping Alfred plan his next treasure hunt.

Recently, Alfred lost a piece of an ancient dwarven map to a band of dangerous pirates. This map, stolen from a shipment meant for him, holds the key to unlocking Grimdor’s mythical treasure. Alfred seeks daring adventurers to recover the stolen map, offering not only gold, but the chance to discover secrets that could reshape Teliboria’s future. With Alfred’s and Gomruck’s expertise in treasure hunting and Glimmer’s cunning, the Ironshield team is ready to join any party of adventurers who answer the call.
